PFN \ 6 Stage \ Permanent Magnet
I recently purchased a WW II magnetron magnet from an Ebay auction which I cleaned up and carefully touched up ( see photo below at the left). The photo at the lower right shows a 2J49 magnetron attached to the magnet.

The experimental set up is identical to that described in the 2J55 testing stand link. The Rigol DSO indicates the 2J49 appearing
to be operating as rated ( 12KV at 12 amps).
